Question: YA- Girl lives with pagan mother, then with uncle at a dump (?), meets boy

That's really all I remember about it. She went to a whole bunch of
solstice parties. Lived with her relatives (uncle and aunt?) at a dump or
quarry. She eventually met a boy. I don't remember too much about that. I
read it in the 1990s when I was a wee lass. I think it was a single book
not in a series.
