I cannot for the life of me remember the title of this book I used to read
when I was a kid. It was about a mouse who lived in a teapot, I think she
cleaned it up throughout the book because she had found it in bad
condition.I think it was white and the mouse was a girl.I asked this
question on yahoo and got suggestions like Livingston the mouse and Alice
in wonderland. I know its not those two. It was a short story not a novel.

I doubt with so little specifics that anyone will know what I'm talking
about but its worth a shot.

Kat7 is almost right. It's actually "Muffin Mouse's New House". There was
also "Good Morning, Muffin Mouse". I loved these books as a kid and still
own copies.

Sorry this isn't a full answer. I think I also remember this book - it
was a picture book, I think the book itself was actually shaped like a
teapot. The mouse's previous home met with disaster, and then she
looked for a new one and finally found and fixed up the teapot. I think
it was leaking at first. The title was along the lines of Miss Mouse's
New Home or Miss Mouse's New House. Or maybe the mouse was named
Miss...Something. I hope this at least helps jog someone else's
memory....
