Question: The title is 2 cats names, A snobby cat has to get used to the newer messier cat. from the 90s I think

There was a cat, and the owner brought a new cat home (I think it was a
tortie, the cover had picture of them both) And this new cat was very messy
and clumsy, and tumbling around, and the other cat was a bit of a snob and
they didnt like each other. But at the end I think they end up cuddled up
together. Im sure their names began with the same letter, Im thinking T or
C or M???

I read a book like this in the mid 60's, when i was at school. The woman
really wanted a tortie, but was offered a Siamese; which she called
Minka. She then got a tortie as well. She called them her Sun kitten and
Moon kitten.

Its
for alot younger children, not too many pages, and not lots of writing
its very lyrical and lots of describing words. Its driving me crazy
trying to think of the names! I can almost picture the last page where
they end up curled up together, and they say each other names......

THANKYOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!!! that indeed is the book!!!! I kept thinking
one of them was called cosy or something, but was thinking surely thats
not a cats name... but obviously is!!!! =)
